Academy Registration and Verification Policy

Effective Date: June 17, 2025

Last Updated: June 17, 2025

This academy was created under the Grip Culture Academy Registration and Verification Policy.

By registering, creating, managing, claiming, or operating an academy profile on Grip Culture, you confirm that you are authorized to create and manage this academy profile, and that all information submitted is accurate, current, and truthful.

Grip Culture provides software tools that allow users to create, display, manage, and administer academy profiles, teams, coaches, athletes, managed athletes, memberships, and related information. Grip Culture does not own, operate, supervise, insure, certify, or guarantee academies listed on the platform.

1. Adult Account Requirement

Grip Culture user accounts are only available to individuals who are at least 18 years old.

By registering or managing an academy, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You are legally authorized to act on behalf of the academy.
  • You have authority to submit and manage academy information.
  • You accept responsibility for academy information and academy management actions performed through your account.

Minors may not create their own Grip Culture user accounts.

2. Managed Minor Athlete Profiles

Grip Culture may allow adult users to create or manage athlete profiles for minors or other managed athletes.

A managed minor athlete profile is not a user account for the minor.

If an academy owner, coach, manager, parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult manages athlete profiles connected to an academy, including minor athlete profiles, that adult is responsible for confirming that they have the legal authority and permission to provide, manage, display, update, or remove that athlete information.

Grip Culture may restrict, hide, suspend, or remove managed athlete profiles, including minor athlete profiles, if there are concerns related to authorization, consent, safety, identity, privacy, inaccurate information, disputes, or misuse of academy tools.

3. Academy Review and Verification

Grip Culture administrators may review each academy registration before or after it becomes visible on the platform.

This review may include confirming that the academy exists, reviewing the responsible person or account owner, reviewing the academy name, logo, address, contact information, public digital presence, academy relationships, and requesting additional information when necessary.

Academy verification does not mean that Grip Culture owns, operates, endorses, certifies, supervises, insures, or guarantees the academy, its coaches, its athletes, its managed athletes, its services, its facilities, its activities, or its representatives.

Verification only means that, based on the information available at the time of review, the academy profile met Grip Culture’s platform requirements.

4. Contact and Additional Information

If Grip Culture administrators find incomplete, inconsistent, suspicious, disputed, or potentially inaccurate information, Grip Culture may contact the academy using the contact information provided during registration or through the responsible account owner.

The academy owner or responsible person must respond with accurate information within the requested timeframe.

Failure to respond may result in delayed verification, rejection, suspension, restriction, hiding, or removal of the academy profile.

5. Approval

Grip Culture may approve an academy profile when the submitted information appears complete and consistent with the platform’s requirements.

Approved academies may be displayed in search results, public academy pages, athlete profiles, managed athlete profiles, coach profiles, tournament results, rankings, team statistics, and other platform areas where academy information is used.

Grip Culture may change, revoke, or suspend an approval if new information becomes available or if the academy violates this policy, platform rules, applicable law, community safety standards, intellectual property rights, or platform integrity requirements.

6. Rejection

Grip Culture may reject an academy registration at its discretion, including but not limited to cases where:

  • The academy cannot be reasonably verified.
  • The information submitted is false, incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading.
  • The responsible person cannot be confirmed.
  • The academy appears to impersonate another academy, team, business, person, federation, organization, or brand.
  • The academy uses unauthorized names, logos, photos, images, trademarks, or intellectual property.
  • The academy appears fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, inappropriate, inactive, disputed, or in violation of platform policies or applicable laws.
  • The registering user does not appear authorized to create or manage the academy profile.

If an academy is rejected, Grip Culture may notify the account owner or contact person when appropriate. Grip Culture is not required to approve any academy registration.

7. Suspension

Grip Culture may suspend an academy temporarily or permanently if there are concerns related to:

  • Identity.
  • Ownership.
  • Authorization.
  • Safety.
  • Fraud.
  • Misuse.
  • Disputes.
  • Intellectual property.
  • Illegal activity.
  • Repeated reports.
  • False information.
  • Unauthorized profile management.
  • Minor athlete privacy or consent concerns.
  • Violation of platform rules.
  • Legal exposure.
  • Platform integrity.

During suspension, the academy may be hidden, limited, removed from search, blocked from accepting members, blocked from approving requests, restricted from managing members, or restricted from using certain features.

Suspension may occur with or without prior notice when Grip Culture believes immediate action is necessary to protect users, minors, athletes, managed athletes, academies, organizers, the platform, or the integrity of academy data.

8. Suspension or Removal of Members and Responsible Persons

Grip Culture may restrict, suspend, or remove users, coaches, athletes, managed athletes, managers, academy owners, responsible persons, or related profiles connected to an academy if they violate platform rules, submit false information, misuse academy tools, impersonate another person or organization, create safety concerns, create privacy concerns, create legal concerns, or create platform integrity concerns.

Academy owners are responsible for managing their members, coaches, athletes, managed athletes, pending requests, roles, permissions, and academy information inside the platform.

Adults who manage athlete profiles, including minor athlete profiles, are responsible for confirming that they are authorized to submit, manage, display, update, or remove that information.

9. Academy Ownership

The academy profile must be managed by an authorized responsible person who is at least 18 years old.

Only the responsible academy owner account may request deletion of the academy profile, unless Grip Culture is required or permitted to remove it for policy, safety, legal, intellectual property, privacy, fraud prevention, or platform integrity reasons.

The academy owner is responsible for keeping academy information accurate and updated, including:

  • Name.
  • Logo.
  • Address.
  • Website.
  • Contact details.
  • Responsible person.
  • Coaches.
  • Athletes.
  • Managed athletes.
  • Pending members.
  • Public information.
  • Academy relationships.
  • Role assignments.

10. Transfer of Ownership

An academy may be transferred to another Grip Culture user only by the current responsible academy owner, or through a verification process approved by Grip Culture.

Grip Culture may require additional confirmation before transferring ownership, including confirmation from the current owner, the receiving user, academy representatives, or other reasonable proof of authorization.

Grip Culture may refuse or delay a transfer if ownership, authorization, identity, legal authority, or academy control cannot be reasonably confirmed.

11. User Responsibility

Grip Culture provides the digital environment and platform tools that allow users to create, manage, and administer academies, profiles, teams, memberships, athletes, managed athletes, coaches, and related information.

Academy owners, coaches, athletes, parents, guardians, managers, and users are responsible for the information they submit, the actions they take, the members they approve, the roles they assign, the managed athlete profiles they create or manage, and the academy activity they manage through the platform.

Grip Culture does not operate the academies listed on the platform and is not responsible for academy training, coaching, physical activities, injuries, payments, services, contracts, in-person conduct, facility conditions, disputes between members, minor athlete management decisions, or representations made by academy owners, coaches, athletes, parents, guardians, managers, or third parties.

12. No Guarantee

Grip Culture does not guarantee that academy information is always complete, accurate, updated, safe, lawful, authorized, or error-free.

Users should independently verify academy information before joining, training, paying, visiting, competing, registering an athlete, associating a managed athlete profile, or relying on any academy, coach, athlete, team, or public information shown on the platform.

13. Platform Rights

Grip Culture may edit, hide, restrict, reject, suspend, transfer, or remove academy profiles, academy-related content, academy roles, academy members, academy requests, or managed athlete connections when necessary to enforce this policy, protect users, protect minors, comply with applicable law, prevent abuse, prevent fraud, address disputes, respond to intellectual property concerns, or maintain platform integrity.

Grip Culture may preserve academy records, user actions, acceptance records, verification records, reports, and related activity for legal, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and platform integrity purposes.

Grip Culture may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after policy updates means acceptance of the updated policy.

14. Acceptance

By continuing, I confirm that:

  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I am authorized to register and manage this academy.
  • The information I provide is accurate, current, and truthful.
  • I understand academy registration may be reviewed, rejected, suspended, restricted, or removed.
  • I understand academy verification does not mean Grip Culture owns, operates, endorses, certifies, supervises, insures, or guarantees the academy.
  • I accept responsibility for academy information and management actions performed through my account.
  • If I manage athlete profiles, including minor athlete profiles, I confirm that I am authorized to provide and manage that information.
